Avocent Rewards launches with a Racing Start

Harwell, Oxfordshire — 1st October 2007 — Avocent in association with distributor Gamma Global recently held two partner events in Manchester and Milton Keynes to celebrate the launch of Avocent Rewards, which is being operated by Loyaltynet. On both occasions the venues were Daytona Racing circuits, which includes one of the UK's longest pro-karting tracks.

Channel partner staff attended product and marketing briefings in the morning as well as learning about the exciting new Avocent Rewards programme. In the afternoon some very competitive racing took place under endurance conditions - the races lasting nearly two hours. Those attending were even rewarded bonus 'kick-off' points on to their Avocent Rewards accounts.

Phil Thomson Managing Director at Loyaltynet said, "what fantastic events and terrific fun. Awarding those attending with 'kick-off' points for the incentive programme was the icing on the cake. The flexibility of the Loyaltynet programme enables our clients to reward their members for any activity, change of behaviour or extra effort they wish. While obviously the vast majority of any rewards will be based on sales, being able to incentivise members for completion of training, logging leads, delivering demonstrations, attending events, and indeed anything that helps drive partner effectiveness is hugely beneficial."

About Loyaltynet

Loyaltynet, The Partner Incentivisation Specialist, was founded in 2004 to help companies achieve greater sales by incentivising their dealers, distributors and resellers. The Loyaltynet web-based system allows companies to run their own branded online sales incentive programmes, as an extension of their portal, web site, or a specific micro site, and offers a wide range of exciting rewards. Programmes blend incentivisation with clients' existing product and sales training. Sales success is still rewarded, but programme members are also encouraged to complete product tutorials and sales training, making channel partners more effective in how they sell for both the short and long term.

At the start of a project Loyaltynet works closely with clients to ensure that the blended incentivisation programme is aligned to corporate goals. It then provides a fully outsourced programme including system configuration, hosting, administration and member support.
