Partner incentive programmes offering green and eco friendly rewards show significant increases in both membership levels and sales growth

Harwell, Oxfordshire — 15 April 2008 — as long ago as the summer of 2006 Loyaltynet introduced carbon neutral flights as a reward within a number of partner incentive programmes. The hugely positive reaction by members to this type of reward has seen the addition of a range of eco friendly rewards.

These include the likes of the Tefal Quick cup which will heat water in 3 seconds, the Freeloader Solar Charger which uses solar energy to charge devices such as mobile phones and iPods, as well as the Efergy Energy Saving Meter which keeps you updated on your electricity consumption. Also available is the carbon offset gift range that lets members 'neutralise' their CO2 emissions, by contributing to world-wide environmental projects which include Renewable Energy initiatives throughout the developing world.

Ian Leigh, Channel Development Manager at Fujitsu Siemens said "Providing eco friendly rewards within our partner incentive programmes is a clear way of further showing our commitment to the environment. We have seen a five fold increase in the numbers of members joining these programmes compared with previous initiatives."

Fujitsu Siemens was the first global manufacturer to introduce a Blue Angel-certified Green PC to market (1993) and one of the first to implement a full-scale product recycling programme (1988). Today Fujitsu Siemens Computers' growing portfolio of green products ranges from thin clients to desktop PCs to workstations, and its environmental ethos is reflected in everything it does, from product design and manufacturing processes to end-of-life product disposal.

About The Programmes
FSC Talking Points

Using their online accounts, members register Fujitsu Siemens sales and when they have accrued sufficient points are able to claim a range of exciting rewards from the online catalogue. As well as the more conventional products (supplied through John Lewis), members have also been able to choose Carbon Neutral Flights, Holiday Apartment Hire and most recently a range of environmentally friendly products.

As with many Loyaltynet programmes, partner staff are encouraged to become more effective in how they sell products and services. Members are able to earn additional points by completing a range of online FSC product tutorials.

FSC Talking Leads

Members are rewarded for registering a lead on their account and thereby giving Fujitsu Siemens the opportunity to provide a competitive bid to help the member win the business. Once the deal has been won the member is rewarded based on the size of the sale. Even if the deal is lost, the member can still receive an additional reward by submitting a Loss Report, helping Fujitsu Siemens identify how they may be able to respond differently to partner opportunities in the future.

About Loyaltynet

Loyaltynet, The Partner Incentivisation Specialist, was founded in 2004 to help companies achieve greater sales by incentivising their dealers, distributors and resellers. The Loyaltynet web-based system allows companies to run their own branded online sales incentive programmes, as an extension of their portal, web site, or a specific micro site, and offers a wide range of exciting rewards. Programmes blend incentivisation with clients' existing product and sales training. Sales success is still rewarded, but programme members are also encouraged to complete product tutorials and sales training, making channel partners more effective in how they sell for both the short and long term.

At the start of a project Loyaltynet works closely with clients to ensure that the blended incentivisation programme is aligned to corporate goals. It then provides a fully outsourced programme including system configuration, hosting, administration and member support.
